Creative Approach
- AI-Assisted, Human Perfected: I leverage advanced digital tools and generative AI models to explore diverse creative directions quickly, always guided by my professional design expertise to ensure commercial-quality results.
- Comprehensive Phased Process: Our collaborative journey unfolds in clear stages:
- 1. Vision Development: We start with your detailed questionnaire (below) and a consultation call to thoroughly understand your book, genre, target audience, and unique vision.
- 2. Phase 1 - Initial Concepts: I'll develop three (3) distinct initial concepts, exploring varied styles and ideas based on our brief.
- 3. Phase 2 - Concept Exploration: After you select your preferred initial concept, I'll create three (3) exploratory variations of that chosen direction, refining its visual elements.
- 4. Phase 3 - "Approved Core Design": You'll select one variation from Phase 2. This becomes the "Approved Core Design" that we'll perfect.
- 5. Phase 4 - Print Spread Development (for Print Package): If applicable, I’ll develop the full print spread (front, back, spine) based on the "Approved Core Design".
- 6. Refinement & Revisions: You'll have two (2) included rounds of revisions to polish the "Approved Core Design" (or the full print spread).
- 7. Final Delivery: Upon your final approval and settlement of the balance, you'll receive access to all finalized files (high-resolution Ebook/Print, source files) through a dedicated shared Project Hub.
Business Terms
- Payment Structure: 50% deposit secures your project, with remaining 50% due upon final approval. Secure payment via Stripe (credit card or bank transfer) through Wave invoicing.
- Licensing: You receive an exclusive, worldwide, perpetual license for your book (ebook, print, audiobook) and related promotion. I retain copyright and portfolio rights. (Work-for-Hire terms available at premium rates; merchandise licensing separate.)
- Deliverables: Your final package, delivered via a shared Project Hub, includes high-resolution files (for ebook/print/audiobook as applicable) and comprehensive source files: the layered Affinity Publisher (.afpub) document, exported unflattened elements (e.g., background JPGs, text as SVG), and the public domain font files used.
- Refunds & Timelines: Initial deposit is non-refundable once work begins. Project typically completes within 2-4 weeks, depending on project complexity and the speed of your feedback at each phase.
